Abilene Used Car Sales (“Dealer”) provides access to an auto-related website and related online tools (collectively, the “Site”). Privacy is important, especially in today’s digital world, and Dealer is committed to protecting the privacy of customers using our Site. This privacy policy applies only to the Site and does not apply to any companies or websites that Dealer does not own, or to any persons not employed by Dealer.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Dealer must collect certain identifiable personal data in order to offer its services. This information includes Customer Name, Physical Address, Phone Number, Email Address, and other information necessary for its services. By providing this information, you consent to Dealer capturing, storing, and using the information to provide the services described.
Dealer also collects non identifiable personal data for the purpose of analyzing user interaction with the Site. This information may include information about your device, information about your browser, your IP Address, or other relevant information.
Dealer uses third-party analytics and data collection services to collect and present data for the purpose of providing services to you and dealers, and to improve the Site. Some of these services might cookies, which are small text files with a single string of 100% anonymous text or numbers, to collect anonymous visitor information. By using the Site you consent to have these cookies installed on your device. Cookies may be cleared manually within your browser’s settings. Instructions for clearing cookies are available from your browser’s publisher.
When you voluntarily provide information such to us such as your name, email address, or phone number, you are not anonymous to us. When you send email, submit a form, or send other communications using Dealer websites, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
Dealer uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for information, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide reporting for internal and external customers.
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Dealer does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you gathered through the Site with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide the information or services you’ve requested or under the circumstances described below. Certain services require providing your information to business partners including technology providers, third-parties, agents, and other entities. Disclosure to these business partners will only occur if necessary to provide the services.
Dealer may provide your personal information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We may also provide your personal information when we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Dealer’s policies, or as otherwise required by law.
Dealer may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular vehicle, for example, or how many users clicked on a particular link. Such information does not identify you individually. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Dealer may sell some or all of its assets in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other transaction. In such an event, your personal data may be part of that transaction.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications such as service announcements and administrative messages relating to Dealer.

INFORMATION SECURITY AND TRACKING
Dealer has technical, administrative, physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable regulations to protect your personal information. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Dealer is located in Texas in the United States of America. The Site and primary servers used to store and process Dealer data are located in the United State of America. Regardless of where you are physically located, you acknowledge and agree that data transferred to Dealer through the Site will be transferred and stored in the United States of America under Texas and US law.
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” settings and configurations, but there is currently no industry standard for “Do Not Track” behavior. The Site does not respond to these settings.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your California Privacy Rights:
This PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS supplements the information contained in the Privacy Statement of Dealer, and applies solely to consumers who reside in the State of California. We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this notice.

Dealer collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual consumer, household, or device (“personal information”). We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from our customers or their agents. For example, from documents that our customers provide to us related to the services for which they engage us.
- Indirectly from our customers or their agents. For example, through information we collect from our customers in the course of providing services to them.
- Directly and indirectly from activity on our customer’s website.
- From third-parties that interact with us in connection with the services we offer and/or perform.
Sharing Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose. When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter an agreement that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the agreement.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have not sold any personal information.
Your Rights and Choices
The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.
Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
- If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and
- disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California users are entitled to request information concerning whether a business has disclosed certain information about you to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. California users who wish to request further information in compliance with this law or have questions or concerns about our privacy practices and policies may contact us as specified in the “Contact Information” section below.
Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected about you and retained, subject to certain exceptions in the CCPA. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies (such as data necessary to complete a transaction or to monitor for fraud or illegal activity), and we will direct our service providers to similarly delete your personal information from their records.
Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights
To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a “verifiable consumer request” (defined below) to us at the physical or email address listed below under Contact Information. Only you or someone you authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
A verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide enough information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
- Describe your request with enough detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period.
We will respond to your request within a reasonable time, but the timing will depend on the scope of your request, the number of other requests we are processing, and other similar factors. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Do Not Track
Online Tracking Policy for California Residents. As of the effective date of this Privacy Statement, there is no commonly accepted response for Do Not Track signals initiated by browsers, therefore we do not respond to them.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties, provide you a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
